Product Details

Sometimes, a basic analog control device is just what your project needs. It gives a great tactile feel, but it's not always easy to find. Fortunately, we offer an affordable and high - quality Mini 2 - Axis Analog Thumbstick to meet your directional analog input requirements! This small joystick has a black rocker cap, like those on the PSP. It's a self - centering analog type, made up of two 10KΩ potentiometers, one for up - down and the other for left - right. You can solder the potentiometer pins to a custom breakout board. We also have our own Analog Mini Thumbstick PCB that goes well with this joystick. When it's all set up and working, the voltage changes as you move the thumbstick, and it centers itself when you let go. It's ideal for robotics and other control interfaces. Note: The breakout PCB is not included.

Using this Mini 2 - Axis Analog Thumbstick is easy. Just hold the thumbstick and move it in the direction you want. The voltage will change according to your movement, and when you release it, it will go back to the center. If you want, you can solder the potentiometer pins onto a custom breakout board. We also suggest using our Analog Mini Thumbstick PCB for a better fit. Remember, the breakout PCB is not included with the thumbstick. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. If it gets dirty, you can gently wipe it with a soft cloth.
