Product Details

This is a straightforward IO expansion board for the micro:bit. It brings out all the micro:bit's IO ports following the Gravity standard interface. It also features separate I2C and serial ports. The board comes with an integrated buzzer and edge connector contacts. The backside silkscreens clearly mark all interface functions, making it easy for users to start. Key features include a Gravity 3 - Pin interface for plug - and - play with DFRobot Gravity series, 19 micro:bit pins led out in 3P pin - header form, independent I2C and 1 - way serial port, an onboard buzzer with a switch, onboard edge connector contacts, and high - quality ENIG technology with clear silkscreens. Specifications are an operating voltage of 3.3V, dimensions of 45.5*66.5mm (1.79*2.62”), and 19 IO ports. There's also a product wiki for more details.

Using this micro:bit IO expansion board is a breeze. First, connect it to your micro:bit. You can easily plug in DFRobot Gravity series components using the Gravity 3 - Pin interface. It's plug - and - play, so just connect and start using. When using the buzzer, you can turn it on or off with the onboard switch. Be careful when handling the board to avoid bending the pins. The operating voltage is 3.3V, so make sure to use a power source that provides this voltage. For maintenance, keep the board clean and dry. If you have any questions, refer to the product wiki for more information.
