Using this keypad is super easy. First, remove the paper backing on the membrane. Then, stick the keypad onto an enclosure wherever you need it. Feed the cable through a slot. You can then plug the 5 - pin header strip into a breadboard. When using the keypad, just press the buttons like you would with normal switches to enter your code. As for maintenance, keep it clean and dry. Avoid getting it wet or exposing it to extreme temperatures. If there's dust on it, you can gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
