Product Details

This 180 - degree fisheye M12 lens is an affordable choice for the Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera. It comes with an HQ Camera adapter for easy installation. You can also use it as an alternative telephoto lens for the Arducam Mini High Quality Camera. With a 180° Field of View (FoV), it can capture a 5.7 x 4.27 m (18.70 x 14.02 ft) scene from just 1 - meter (3.28 ft) away. M12 lenses are a great option. They're lightweight, taking up less space than traditional C - mount lenses. They're also cost - effective, generally cheaper than most C - mount lenses. And since different projects have different lens needs, M12 lenses offer an affordable way to get the right lenses for various scenarios. The lens has an optical format of 1/2.3”, a focal length of 1.56mm, an aperture of F2, and a 180° (H) FoV on the Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera and 140°(H) on the Raspberry Pi V1/V2 Camera. It has an M12 mount, a back focal length of 4.3mm, a minimum object distance (MOD) of 0.2m, dimensions of Φ20×17.3mm, and weighs only 7g. It's sensitive to visible light with a 650nm IR filter, and its model number is M25156H18.

Using this 180 - degree fisheye M12 lens is easy. First, attach it to your Raspberry Pi High Quality Camera or Arducam Mini High Quality Camera using the included HQ Camera adapter. When you're ready to take pictures or record videos, keep in mind the lens's 180° Field of View. This wide angle allows you to capture large scenes from a short distance. As for the distance, make sure your subject is at least 0.2m away. When it comes to maintenance, handle the lens gently because it's quite lightweight. Keep it clean with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. Also, be careful with the 650nm IR filter. If you notice any issues, check the connections and make sure the lens is properly mounted.
