Product Details

If your Raspberry Pi 5 project needs to fit into a small space, or you don't like those big tower coolers, our ultra low-profile heatsink is just what you need. It sits close to the board, leaving plenty of space for HATs. This compact aluminum heatsink, colored in sleek black, helps draw heat away from your Raspberry Pi 5. It comes with 3 thermal pads for the CPU, RAM, and PMIC, focusing cooling on these important parts. The heatsink attaches to the Raspberry Pi 5 using spring-loaded clips that fit into the cooler mounting holes. While it doesn't offer the same cooling power as an active fan-based solution, it gives you great flexibility when building custom compact enclosures. The fan can be placed elsewhere in the setup. Note that the Raspberry Pi 5 is not included. HATs come in various shapes, sizes, and mounting methods, so it's hard to say it'll work with all of them. But it's our most compact heatsink for the Pi 5, making it a great choice if size and HAT mounting matter to you. Features include compatibility only with Raspberry Pi 5, ultra low-profile design, secure spring-loaded clips, included thermal pads for RAM, CPU, and PMIC, aluminum material, and a black color. The package contains 1 ultra low-profile heatsink for Raspberry Pi 5 and 3 thermal pads.

Using this heatsink is easy. First, take the 3 thermal pads and carefully place them on the CPU, RAM, and PMIC of your Raspberry Pi 5. Then, position the heatsink over these components. Next, use the spring-loaded clips to attach the heatsink to the cooler mounting holes on the Raspberry Pi 5. Make sure it's firmly in place. When using it, keep in mind that the Raspberry Pi 5 is not included. Also, since HATs vary a lot, you might need to check if they'll work with this heatsink. For maintenance, every few months, gently blow away any dust that might have gathered on the heatsink using compressed air. This will help it keep working well and keep your Raspberry Pi 5 cool.
