Product Details

The Chibi Clip Mounting Accessory is a must - have for your Chibi Chip. It makes testing and re - using the microcontroller board a breeze! Attaching or detaching your Chip to paper circuits is as simple as using a clothespin. Designed with classrooms and budget - conscious teachers in mind, this accessory is a game - changer. Unlike soldering and taping which need consumables and can cause damage to the Chip, the Chibi Clip uses its built - in spring tension to press the Chip's electrodes onto copper tape. This allows for quick and easy re - use across multiple projects and among different students. When creating copper tape patterns, use the Chibi Chip as a guide. Mark the paper edge for the tape placement, lay the tape to the paper's edge, and make it as smooth as possible before clipping. Note that the Chibi Clip Mounting Accessory does not come with a Chibi Chip Microcontroller Board, which you'll need to buy separately. Get started with the Chibi Chip and Clip Guide today!

Using the Chibi Clip Mounting Accessory is super easy. First, if you're working on paper circuits, use the Chibi Chip as a guide to mark where the copper tape should go on the paper's edge. Then, lay the copper tape all the way to the paper's edge and make it as smooth as you can. After that, simply use the Chibi Clip to attach the Chip to the copper tape. The built - in spring in the clip will press the Chip's electrodes onto the tape. You can use this setup for multiple projects and share it among students, as the clip allows for easy re - use. One important thing to note is that the Chibi Clip doesn't come with a Chibi Chip, so you'll have to buy the chip separately. As for maintenance, keep the clip clean and avoid bending the spring too much to ensure it works well for a long time.
