This straight bar load cell, also known as a strain gauge, can convert up to 5kg of pressure (force) into an electrical signal. It measures the change in electrical resistance proportional to the strain (such as pressure or force) applied to the bar. With this gauge, you can accurately determine an object's weight, track weight changes over time, or simply detect an object's presence by measuring the strain or load on a surface. Made from aluminum - alloy, it has a 5kg reading capacity. It comes with four strain gauges arranged in a wheatstone bridge formation. The wiring color code is: red = Exc+, green = Sig+, black = Exc-, and white = Sig-. It also has an IP65 protection rating and two M5 sized through - holes for easy mounting.

Using this load cell is easy. First, mount it using the two M5 sized through - holes on a stable surface. Connect the wires according to the color code: red for Exc+, green for Sig+, black for Exc-, and white for Sig-. Once connected, place the object you want to measure on the load cell, and it will convert the pressure into an electrical signal. This signal can be used to determine the weight. When using, make sure the load doesn't exceed 5kg to avoid damaging the load cell. Keep it away from excessive moisture as it has an IP65 protection rating, but extreme wet conditions may still cause problems. For maintenance, simply wipe it clean with a dry cloth regularly. If you notice any abnormal readings, check the wiring connections first.
