With this kit, you can easily make various projects like a simple alarm clock or operate a DC motor. It's neatly packed in a cool cardboard box with a magnetic closure. littleBits consists of pre - assembled discrete electronic components on tiny circuit boards. These user - friendly blocks make electronics prototyping as easy as snapping magnets. With more modules becoming available, littleBits aims to bring electronics to the early design stages and into the hands of artists, makers, students, and designers. Using the littleBits Starter Base Kit is a breeze. First, take out the 9V alkaline battery and connect it to the Battery Power Bit using the 9V Barrel Jack Cable. Then, start picking the modules you need for your project. Remember, the bits are color - coded. Blue is for power, pink for input, green for output, and orange for wire. Simply snap the modules together magnetically to build your circuit. If you're using the DC Motor Bit, attach wheels or other objects with the motorMate. Refer to the full - color instruction booklet for eight fun projects. As for the screwdriver, it might come in handy for some adjustments. Important note: This product has been discontinued. Also, handle the battery with care and keep it away from moisture. When you're done with your projects, store the kit in its cardboard box. You can clean the bits gently with a dry cloth to keep them in good condition. If you want to explore more designs, check out the Kit Insider Video and the GitHub Design Files.
