Product Details

For those eager to craft their own custom keyboard, these Kailh Clicky Jade mechanical key switches are an absolute luxury! They offer smooth actuation and are compatible with Cherry MX. When you press a key, you'll experience a 'thick' and deeply satisfying tactile click, a snappy feel, and an audible click. These switches are of the clicky tactile type. The operating force is 50 ±15gf, the tactile force is 75 ±15gf, the return force is greater than 5gf, the conduction travel is 1.8 ±0.3mm, and the total travel is 3.6 ±0.3mm. Each pack comes with 10 switches, enough to make a small keyboard. Or you can grab multiple packs to build a full - sized keyboard. You can use these switches with our NeoKey boards like the Socket Breakout and the FeatherWing. They also work great with mechanical key sockets, so you can avoid soldering. We also have MX - compatible keycaps that snap right on. Besides the Jade version, we also carry Red, Black, Brown, and White versions for different key - press sensations.

Using these Kailh mechanical key switches is easy. First, if you're using them with our NeoKey boards like the Socket Breakout or FeatherWing, just place the switches in the appropriate slots. If you choose to use mechanical key sockets, insert the switches into the sockets to avoid soldering. Then, snap on our MX - compatible keycaps. When handling the switches, be gentle to avoid damaging them. Store them in a dry and clean place to prevent dust and moisture from affecting their performance. If you notice any decrease in the clicky feel or performance, check for debris in the switches. You can use a can of compressed air to blow out any dust. And remember, you can mix and match different colors of these switches, like the Red, Black, Brown, and White versions, to create a keyboard with a variety of key - press feels.
