Product Details

These Kailh White Linear mechanical key switches are a top - notch choice for creating your custom keyboard. They offer smooth actuation and are compatible with Cherry MX switches. When you press them, you'll enjoy a clicky tactile keystroke with a sharp feel and an audible click. The switches come in a pack of 10, which is enough to make a small keyboard, or you can grab multiple packs for a full - sized keyboard. They are clicky tactile type, with an operating force of 50 gf (+/-10 gf), tactile force of 55 gf (+/-10 gf), pretravel of 1.8 mm (+/- 0.3 mm), pressure point at 1.7 mm, total travel of 3.6 mm (+/- 0.3 mm), and a reset point of 1.8 mm. You can use them with our NeoKey boards like the Socket Breakout and the FeatherWing. They're also great with mechanical key sockets if you want to avoid soldering. We also have MX - compatible keycaps for easy attachment. Additionally, we carry Red, Black, and Brown versions for different key - press sensations.

Using these Kailh clicky white mechanical key switches is easy. First, if you're using them with our NeoKey boards such as the Socket Breakout or FeatherWing, simply attach the switches to the appropriate spots on the board. If you want to avoid soldering, mechanical key sockets are a great option - just place the switches in the sockets. You can then snap on our MX - compatible keycaps. When building your keyboard, start with one pack of 10 switches for a small - scale project. For a full - sized keyboard, get a few packs. As for maintenance, keep the switches clean by gently blowing away any dust or debris. Avoid getting them wet as this can damage the internal components. If you notice a change in the clicky feel or any other issues, check if the switch is properly seated in its socket or on the board. And remember, we also have other color versions like Red, Black, and Brown if you want to experiment with different key - press feels.
