This is a SparkFun exclusive! These 12' long male-to-female jumper wires are super useful. You can use them to connect from any male or female header on any board. Multiple jumpers can be placed side by side on a 0.1' header. They come in five packs of twenty jumpers with the colors as shown. We use these wires for all sorts of projects! They work perfectly with breadboards, Arduinos, and any 0.1' pitch prototyping board.
Using these jumper wires is easy. First, identify the male and female headers on your board. Then, simply plug one end of the jumper wire into the male header and the other end into the female header. You can connect multiple jumpers next to each other on a 0.1' header. When using them with breadboards, Arduinos, or 0.1' pitch prototyping boards, just insert the wires into the appropriate holes. As for maintenance, keep the wires away from sharp objects to avoid cuts. Also, store them in a dry place to prevent rusting. And when not in use, you can keep them organized by using the provided packs.
