This is a top - notch DFRobot customized product. It's a simple two - phase hybrid stepper motor with a powerful 3.5kg high - torque output. It's perfect for most CNC machines and 3D printers like MakerBot and Ultimaker. If you're building your own CNC or 3D printer, this motor is your best bet. Usually, a CNC machine needs 3 motors and a 3D printer needs 4. Finding the right stepper motor can be a headache due to the wide range of quality and price in the market. After testing over 10 different stepper motors, we found this one that meets our quality and price standards. It passed DFRobot Lab's 3 - month continuous running test. Installed on our 3D printer and running 24x5 for 3 months, it still performs well. That's why we highly recommend it to the 3D printer community. It comes with a 4 - pin JST connector compatible with the Ultimaker control board and a 50cm cable.

Using this stepper motor is easy. First, connect the 4 - pin JST connector to the Ultimaker control board. Make sure the cable isn't tangled or damaged. When installing it in your CNC machine or 3D printer, follow the standard installation process for stepper motors. Just align it properly and secure it in place. As for the power supply, use the rated voltage of 3.4V and current of 1.7A per phase to ensure it runs smoothly. For maintenance, keep it clean and free from dust. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures outside the - 20°C to + 50°C range. If you notice any strange noises or malfunctions, stop using it immediately and check for loose connections or other issues. Also, be aware that the motor has a lifespan of about 6000 hours, so plan your usage accordingly.
