Product Details

The LCD1602 module from the DFRobot Gravity IIC series is a great upgrade from the classic LCD1602. You're probably familiar with the square, green - colored LCD1602 with a row of 2.54 pin headers. This module has been optimized both in appearance and function. You don't have to adjust the contrast, and it retains the controllable backlight feature. It's compatible with both 3.3V and 5V voltage, offering a different user experience. Specification details: Operating Voltage is 3.3V - 5.0V, Operating Current is ≤20mA, Display is 16*2, Communication Mode is IIC/I2C, Backlight color is Gray, Operating Temperature ranges from -20 to +70°C, Storage Temperature is from -30 to +80°C, and Dimensions are 87.0*32.0*13.0mm (3.43*1.26*0.51in). Also, you can access the Product wiki and More Documents.

Using this Gravity I2C LCD1602 Arduino Display Module is easy. First, connect it to your Arduino board. Since it's compatible with both 3.3V and 5V voltage, make sure you choose the right power supply according to your Arduino's output. You don't need to adjust the contrast, which saves you time. To control the backlight, you can use the relevant pins. When using it, keep the operating temperature between -20 and +70°C. If you need to store it, make sure the temperature is between -30 and +80°C. Avoid exposing it to extreme heat or cold. For maintenance, keep it clean and dry. If there's dust on the display, you can use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe it. Also, don't apply too much pressure on the pins or the display itself to prevent damage.
