Product Details

Introduction: An Arduino UNO has a limited number of GPIO pins. But don't worry! Our GPIO expansion shield, designed specifically for Arduino UNO-type boards, is here to solve the problem. It expands the GPIO resources to 36 pins in total, including 14 digital pins (D0 - D13), 6 analog pins (A0 - A5), and 16 I2C pins (P0.0 - P0.7; P1.0 - P1.7). The digital and analog pins feature the DFRobot 'Gravity' interface, providing in-line power and ground pins. This saves you from connecting numerous jumper wires for a single sensor. Specification: It has 1 IIC port, 1 UART port, and is powered by 5 VDC or an external power supply with a jump cap switch. There is also 1 reset button. The shield measures 53.34 x 54.48 mm (2.1 x 2.14 inches) and weighs 30g. Documents: You can access the WIKI (GPIO Shield for Arduino V1.0) and more documents. Shipping List: The package includes 1 GPIO Shield for Arduino V1.0.

Using this Gravity Arduino GPIO Expansion Shield is easy. First, connect it to your Arduino UNO-type board. The shield will instantly expand the number of available GPIO pins. You can then connect your sensors to the digital, analog, or I2C pins. Thanks to the 'Gravity' interface, you don't have to worry about connecting a lot of jumper wires. When it comes to power, you can choose between a 5 VDC power supply or an external one using the jump cap switch. Make sure to check the power source before use. As for maintenance, keep the shield clean and dry. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or humidity. If you encounter any issues, refer to the provided WIKI or other documents for help.
