GPIO Male Hammer Header Kit - Solderless Raspberry Pi Connector

If soldering isn't your thing or you don't have a soldering iron, these cool hammer headers from Pimoroni are a great solution. This kit comes with one male header and small retaining nubbins to fit tightly into PCB holes. No soldering needed! Just gently tap with a hammer, and your header is securely attached to your Pi Zero. The installation jig kit includes two acrylic base pieces for your Pi Zero, two nylon bolts, screws, an acrylic top piece for hammering, and a male header. Read Pimoroni's guide carefully. We recommend using the installation jig as it's a delicate process without it. Hammer at your own risk, and we're not responsible for any damage. Follow the guide, and you'll be fine. Note: Pi Zero is not included.

Using this solderless GPIO male hammer header kit is a breeze. First, take out the male header and the retaining nubbins from the kit. Place the Pi Zero on the acrylic base pieces in the installation jig. Put the male header in position and use the acrylic top piece to gently tap it with a hammer. This will attach the header securely to your Pi Zero. Make sure to read Pimoroni's guide before you start. We really suggest using the installation jig because it makes the process much easier. If you try without it, be very careful as it's a tricky job. When hammering, do it at your own risk. We can't be held responsible for any damage to your Pi Zero, fingers, or headers. After installation, there's not much maintenance needed. Just keep it in a dry and clean place. And remember, the Pi Zero is not included in this kit.
