Using this Fermion TCS3430 Tristimulus Color Sensor Breakout Board is quite easy. First, connect it to a power supply within the 3.3V - 5V range. Make sure the operating current stays below 5mA for normal use and the LED operating current below 15mA. You can then use the I2C address 0x39 to communicate with it. When using it for color, brightness, or white - balance detection, or color temperature measurement, place it in the appropriate environment. Keep in mind that the operating temperature should be between - 30°C and 85°C. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures as it may affect the sensor's performance.
