Product Details

The GR10-30 gesture sensor is a remarkable device that can recognize 12 different hand gestures, including up, down, left, right, forward, backward, clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, continuous clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, hovering, and waving. You can customize parameters such as gesture trigger distance, hand rotation angle, hovering time, and recognition window size for more precise results. With a stable performance and high accuracy within a sensing range of up to 30cm, it comes with two interrupt pins to indicate gesture triggers and object entry into the recognition area. Unlike most gesture sensors using the PAJ7620U2 chip (which has a 20cm recognition distance and supports only 9 gestures), the GR10-30 offers three additional gesture recognitions. It's ideal for non-contact operation applications like gesture remote controllers, robot interaction, human-machine interface control, lighting control, and gesture game machines. It supports UART and I2C communication, has a maximum recognition distance of 30cm, and comes with configurable recognition thresholds. Its specifications include a supply voltage of 3.3V to 5V, an operating current of less than 10mA, an I2C address of 0x73, a serial baud rate of 9600, an operating temperature of 0°C to 70°C, an operating humidity of 5%RH to 85%RH, and dimensions of 20.5×23.5mm/0.81×0.93”. Documents such as the product wiki, register table, and CAD are available.

Using the GR10-30 gesture sensor is easy. First, connect it to your device following the connection diagram. You can use either UART or I2C communication based on your needs. Once connected, power it with a voltage between 3.3V and 5V. Start performing the 12 supported hand gestures within the 30cm sensing range, and the sensor will recognize them. You can adjust parameters like gesture trigger distance and hand rotation angle in the settings to get the best results. When using it, keep in mind that the operating temperature should be between 0°C and 70°C, and the humidity between 5%RH and 85%RH. Avoid exposing it to extreme conditions. For maintenance, keep it clean and free from dust. If you encounter any issues, refer to the product wiki or the register table for troubleshooting. This sensor comes with one GR10-30 gesture sensor and two 2.54 - 6P black single - row pin connectors in the shipping list.
