Looking for some great indicators? We're huge fans of these diffused green LEDs and use them solely in our kits. They're quite bright and can be seen during the day from any angle. They fit easily into a breadboard and will bring a special touch to your project. Features include a pack of 25 diffused green LEDs, 5mm diameter, 565 nm wavelength, 2.2 - 2.5V Forward Voltage at 20mA current, and a typical brightness of 40 mcd (green LEDs seem brighter to us than other colors). There's also a datasheet available. If you need help using LEDs, check out our 'Introduction to using LEDs' tutorial for electronics projects.

Using these LEDs is easy. Just insert them into a breadboard for quick setup in your project. Make sure to connect them with the correct voltage - they work well with 2.2 - 2.5V at 20mA current. You can see them clearly during the day from any angle. When handling, be gentle as they're delicate. Keep them in a dry place to maintain their quality.
