Celebrate Lady Ada Lovelace, one of the world's first computer programmers! Adafruit presents these cool badges to honor achievements in electronics, science, and engineering. We think everyone should get rewarded for learning useful skills, and these badges are a great way to show and share. This 'Lady Ada Lovelace' sticker is perfect for educators, classrooms, workshops, Maker Faires, TechShops, Hackerspaces, and Makerspaces worldwide. It's a great way to encourage beginners on their skill - building journey. Ada Lovelace Day is an international event promoting awareness of women's achievements in technology and science. This badge is made with permission from Sydney Padua and Suw Charman - Anderson. It's crafted in the USA, skillfully designed, and built to last a lifetime. You can either iron it on or sew it. Adafruit's embroidered badges are made in partnership with AMBRO Manufacturing in NJ, USA. AMBRO is a family - owned business since 1990, sharing Adafruit's open - source values. They use non - toxic, soy - based, water - soluble, and eco - friendly supplies whenever possible. With over 250 solar panels generating 50,000 Kilowatt hours a year, their equipment runs on solar power. Impressions Magazine recognized AMBRO for their environmentally - focused manufacturing. We know you have many choices, and we hope our open - source values and green technologies help you make a fun decision!

Using your Ada Lovelace skill badge is easy! You can either iron it on to your clothing or fabric. First, make sure the surface is clean and dry. Place the badge where you want it, cover it with a thin cloth, and use a hot iron to press firmly for about 10 - 15 seconds. If you prefer, you can also sew it on using a needle and thread. Just be careful not to pull the thread too tight to avoid damaging the badge. When it comes to maintenance, spot - clean the badge gently with a mild detergent if it gets dirty. Avoid soaking it or using harsh chemicals. Store it in a dry place when not in use to keep it looking great for a long time.
